01Write a good one-line brief
Name what you do, who for, and where. “Wedding photography for couples in Galle” beats “photography services”.
Worked example: “Solo accountant helping small shops with bookkeeping basics” already tells a builder the tone (calm, practical), the audience and the main action (book a call).
02Choose photos that earn trust
Real people and real work beat generic smiles. Pick one strong hero image, keep the rest consistent in light and colour, and crop to the subject.
Always add alt text that describes the picture in a sentence.
03Structure a homepage
Start with a hero that says what you do. Follow with services or products, proof, then a clear way to get in touch. Six or seven sections are plenty.
Try the order in the Page Composer.
04Keep it fast
Most visitors arrive on a phone. Compress images, use few fonts, skip auto-playing video. Keep every page as light as you can.
